It is rated for 275 mph winds which can easily withstand a Category 5 hurricane, although we hope one never stops by to say howdy!
One of the unique features that Armor Screen offers that most hurricane protection systems don’t, is visibility. The Armor Screen allows light to come through while still offering a manufacturer’s 10-year UV warranty. You no longer have to be plunged into darkness when the power goes out and your hurricane protection system is deployed! This can really make a difference. You aren’t making your way around by flashlight or lantern. You still can enjoy your daylight hours even if you are stuck inside due to the hurricane. This is a great benefit.
