Motorized Hurricane Screens for a Banana River Home
This Banana River property needed flexible protection across two outdoor living areas without taking away from the home’s appearance or waterfront views.
We completed the project in two phases. The first contract included nine Progressive MagnaTrack motorized screens around the summer kitchen and pool house. The second added five screens along the rear of the home facing the Banana River.
Before installation, we reviewed each opening, coordinated the screen layout, and confirmed a color selection that complemented the home’s existing exterior. Progressive Screens offers a wide range of standard and custom colors, which helped the finished screen enclosure system blend naturally with the property.
All 14 screens were installed with Gapaosa motors. Using the same motor system throughout allows the homeowner to operate the screens with compatible remotes from different areas of the backyard.
The completed system provides more than hurricane protection. The screens can also be lowered for sun control and bug protection, making the pool house, summer kitchen, and waterfront areas more comfortable throughout the year.
